Set off in the late afternoon aboard your own private boat from Dahab's Lagoona toward the vibrant water of Napoleon Reef. Snorkel among colourful coral and marine life, then relax on board as the sun slips behind the Sinai mountains. With Bedouin tea in hand and the calm of the Red Sea around you, it is the perfect blend of adventure, quiet, and unforgettable sunset views.
What to expect
A short, private escape onto the Red Sea, timed for its best hour. We sail out from Dahab’s Lagoona in the late afternoon to Napoleon Reef, where the water is clear and the coral comes alive — snorkel for as long as you like, or stay on deck and watch.
As the sun drops behind the Sinai mountains, the whole sea turns gold. Bedouin tea is poured, the engine idles, and there’s nothing to do but watch the light go. A gentle, unhurried way to end the day.

Pick-up from your accommodation in Dahab
Make our way to the boat at Dahab's Lagoona, board, and get settled for the cruise.

Snorkelling at Napoleon Reef
Set off along the Red Sea in the warm afternoon sun, then arrive at Napoleon Reef to snorkel among colourful fish and coral — or simply relax on deck and take in the clear water and the peace.
17:30
Golden hour
As the sun begins to set, the mountains and sea bathe in golden light. Traditional Bedouin tea is served on board as the day winds down.
18:30
Return to Lagoona
Cruise back to Dahab's Lagoona as the evening settles, then transfer back to your accommodation.
